Born in central Maine, I discovered my love of photography at the age of 11 through my school’s photography club, where I documented field trips and learned the art of developing film in the darkroom.
That early passion was followed by a 25-year career in the military, which provided me the opportunity to travel extensively. I lived in Europe and Asia and visited eleven countries, experiences that deeply influenced my perspective and creative eye.
I come from a long line of crafters and have always been drawn to the process of making. Whether working with fiber and cloth, wood and paint, or paper and ink, I find deep satisfaction in hands-on learning, incremental improvement, and creating tangible, finished pieces.
Now returned to my hometown in Maine, I am embracing a slower pace of life and exploring new creative paths through photography and art. With curiosity as my guide, I believe the next adventure is always waiting to be discovered.
